Töttöröö! On aika rikkoa tovin kestänyt, tietokoneenvaihto-operaatiosta ja muista kiireistä johtunut blogihiljaisuus! Vaikka blogin puolella on ollut hiljaista, puikot ovat kuitenkin kilisseet melkoista tahtia, ja taas on uusia neulomuksia esiteltävänä, ja pari uutta ohjettakin julkaisujonossa… ;)

Hiljaiseloni aikana Facebookissa neulojat ovat innostuneet Karuselli-sukista, joiden ohje on ladattavissa ilmaiseksi Facebookissa Hipsulaisen Karuselli -ryhmässä, sekä Ravelryssa. Kantapäästä aloitettavien sukkien kiehtova muotoilu herätti heti kiinnostukseni, ja pakkohan näitä oli itsekin päästä kokeilemaan! Kaiken lisäksi olin juuri sopivasti tilannut Adlibrikseltä useamman kerän uutta, fingering-vahvuista Socki Fine -sukkalankaa, joka monivärilankana sopii tähän projektiin mainiosti.

Sukkien neulominen aloitetaan kantapäästä, ja silmukoita lisätään kuuden sektorin muodossa työhön, kunnes se on riittävän iso. Tämän jälkeen jalkapöydän sektoreiden silmukat päätellään. Alkuperäisessä ohjeessa silmukoiden päättelemiseen käytetään kolmen puikon päättelyä, mutta itse koin kauniimpana vaihtoehtona päättelyn silmukoimalla. Myös kärkikavennukset ja varren resorin tein ohjeesta poiketen, oman maun mukaisesti.

Vaikka Karuselli-sukkien kirjallinen ohje ei ole mistään täsmällisimmästä päästä, syntyi sillä kuitenkin hauskat sukat, joiden neulominen oli mukavaa. Työvälineiksi valitsin 100 cm pitkän, 2,5 mm KnitPro Zing -pyöröpuikon, josta meinasi kahta sukkaa kerralla neuloessa viimeisiä lisäyksiä tehdessä pituus loppua. Ensi kerralla pitää siis muistaa napata käyttöön hieman pidempi!

Tällaiset on ihan pakko neuloa myös itselle, ja mieskin jo ehti tilaamaan parit lisää. Joko Karuselli-sukat ovat päätyneet sinun puikoillesi?
